The Chalk Bed Reserve returns, following on from two successful vintages in 2018 and 2020. This Rondo and Regent blend has been fermented on skins for three weeks before fermenting in barrel. Subtle oak notes on the nose merge well with Black forest fruits and floral notes. It offers a richer, darker palate than the single variety Regent, yet a softer, smoother finish. Pair with BBQ meats, grilled aubergine and hard cheese. Only four miles from the stunning Norfolk coastline, Burn Valley Vineyard and Winery lie in the village of North Creake. Two sisters work alongside their brother, who farms the land surrounding the vineyard. Burn Valley Vineyard was established in 2016 by the Robinson family; third generation Norfolk farmers. The vineyard name is derived from the river Burn; a rare chalk stream that runs eight miles through North Creek. The chalky, flinty landscape is instrumental in helping Burn Valley thrive.
