Chateau Coutet is a Classified First Growth made within Barsac appellations. The 2016 vintage was superb in that it produced perfect weather conditions for producing a great wine. The wine is made from 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, and 2% Muscadelle. Ageing occurs in 100% French oak barrels for 18 months. Aromas of citrus fruits, pineapples, peach, and vanilla and with hints of brioche. Powerful on the palate but balanced with beautiful freshness. The finish is lively and very long.
