Produced from one of the oldest plots in the appellation, this Chianti is endowed with finesse and elegance coupled with intense character and aromatics, giving it great ageing potential. Aged in barrels and then in bottles, it reveals powerful aromas of black fruits, spices and roasted notes (tobacco, coffee) supported by mentholated notes giving it a lot of freshness. On the palate it is soft, smooth and complex. It is a Chianti Classico Riserva of character and will open up and express itself more beautifully with time. It is perfect with game or other meat dishes.
