This red is a vibrant blend of Pinot Noir and Rondo which takes its name from the historic St Edmundsbury Cathedral which once grew vines within its abbey walls. In the medieval period, a third of the tithe to Rome was paid in hogsheads of wine. It is this heritage which has inspired the English red.
