The Latour family are long established in Burgundy's wine trade. They began as vine growers in the village of Aloxe-Corton as early as 1760s and went on to establish today's business, Maison Louis Latour, in 1797. Today they are one of the region's most famous names. Bellevue Pinot Noir, Domaine de Valmoissine's signature wine, is made from a selection of the Domaine's best parcels located around the charming village of Moissac-Bellevue. Winemaking is simple and employs traditional Burgundian techniques. The wine has a bright colour with purple tints. It offers intense fruit aromas and is gorgeously spicy with a rustic grip. It is harmonious with ripe tannins and balanced acidity.
