From Martinique's iconic producer Rhum JM, Terroir Volcanique was distilled in column stills, then matured in American oak casks with two different types of toasting, intense and extreme. This complex rhum agricole was crafted to reflect the character of the environment in which it was produced. Because the distillery is located at the foot of an active volcano, the mineral-rich soil is perfect for growing sugar cane and the mineral-rich water is ideal for distilling.
