Ryedale in the northern part of the Vale of York used to be a major producer of Damsons, the domesticated cousin of the Sloe. We thought we’d honour this amazing and bountiful fruit by steeping it in our Hedgerow Gin, but to distinguish it from our other liqueurs we lowered the sugar levels to make a delightfully dry, liqueur. Nose – bold, dark fruits with almond notes. Palate – rich, fruity and jammy with clear juniper/gin notes Finish – dry and warming Sweetness – low sweetness
