Matured in a classic combination of first fill ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, aromas of golden syrup and ginger biscuits prevail while flavours of malt loaf and marzipan lead to a dry, lingering spicy finish. Tasting Notes Nose: Refreshing ice-cream drizzled with delicious caramel and walnuts, before Seville orange, red berries and a touch of warmth from pepper. Palate: Ginger, green apple and a touch of seaside air. Sweet chocolate and cooking spices, growing intense on the mid-palate. Finish: Lasting notes of vanilla and fudge.
